Cross-disciplinary research / Data Science / Economics / Research

EconCodex 0.1

e_logoIt was nice to have up and running. Some recent updates on where I would like it to go:

  • it will be a site where open source analytical tools are used on publicly available data sets with open scripts shared to illustrate how data science, economics, and cross-disciplinary research could work together to support decision making in public policy.
  • it will go back to the origin of theoretical economics – Numerical Analysis – to build the foundations of microeconomic analysis – the DNA of all economics, and explain how economists think.
  • it will create research tools that match available data with appropriate research methods and tools based on the type of question asked.

When I have a nice framework setup for the above, I will upload my work to Github and Kaggle online communities to share with more data scientists, economists, and scientists who are interested in interdisciplinary research.

  1. Emotional control is the key to success in this climb, not your intellect, your muscles, or anything physical. It’s metaphysical. It’s your choice between either losing the game or losing your mind.
